San Diego

Discover. Sip. Taste.

Located on the coast with close proximity to Mexico, San Diego is often referred to as “America’s Finest City”. Famous for its long-pristine beaches, fun attractions, and consistent Mediterranean climate.  Although it’s widely known for craft breweries, the wine industry is gaining interest from wine enthusiasts across the country.

San Diego County is home to 150 wineries, made up of mostly small family-owned boutique wineries spanning the countryside, and many urban wineries that are sprinkled about the city and along the coast. Rhone and Italian varietals do very well here due to the climate, as do numerous other varietals in this diverse region. There are three American Viticultural Areas located within San Diego County, including the large South Coast AVA, and within that area resides San Pasqual, and Ramona Valley. Proposed and upcoming AVA’s include San Luis Rey, Rancho Guejito, Rancho Santa Fe, and Highland Valley.  The authentic, unique, and personalized experiences of this region are sure to thrill and inspire any wine lover.

Typically the tour includes transportation, wine tastings at three wineries, and lunch options, making this experience a fun and memorable day trip. We offer wine tastings, wine & food pairings, vineyard and winery tours, gourmet lunches, farm tours, and transportation.
