The warmer climate here and cooling evening Pacific Ocean breezes along with its sandy granite soil are particularly well-suited to produce high-quality, award-winning wines. The vineyards produce more than 50 varietals, including almost every California variety. You can also find some unique wines such as Vermentino, Falanghina, and Counoise.
